An unthinking moment is a funny thing! It starts out innocently enough, certainly - but in the end can come back to bite you in a big way.
As some of you might have noticed, I am no artist, myself - this DA is dedicated soley to those commissions that I have bought - or that others have bought for me. A little shrine to my characters and the wonderful artists who have helped me bring them to life, if you will. Though the intent was fair, I have done a disservice that I would like to make a public apology for!
I refer to this work here: katrinasinclaire.deviantart.co…
And it's edited accomplice here: katrinasinclaire.deviantart.co…
Though they were not bought by me, they were bought -for- me - and I uploaded them here as I always do; not giving proper pause to consider the dreadful fact that these images, intended to be my own Phyrra, were copies of some of the source material that was meant to be a starting basis for something original and little else. I knew this, of course, but failed to consider it at the most important moment.
Those images... goodness, I think I'm repeating myself... Though intended to produce an original image for my characters... are not, in fact, that character. The... reference... and the character they unwittingly became fanart of belong, instead, to - and you can see that character right here: fav.me/dht5j6
So, my apology goes first to the wonderful artist who has suffered the results of this carelessness. The likeness was never the intent; but I could have done something about the result just the same, I think.
My second goes to those artists who did these commissions; for having this placed upon them. I don't know what was said in the exchanges that led to the commissions - but I doubt that this was their intent, either. and are, so far I've known them, people of good character - and good artists, to boot!
My third goes to who, bless him, bought these for me with the best of intents. To have him pulled into a mess because of me is an awful thing to imagine; and yet it happened, just the same. Be careful when you're trying to do nice things for me, you booger!
Finally, I want to apologize to all those who took a liking to these pieces. I must ask you all to go ogle the appropriate person's work, instead of the two I've posted here. The other work I've posted of Phyrra is closer to what was intended; and so you can ogle that one, too - but go ogle the other artist, first. Maybe grope him while you're at it?
If you have any questions about this; please, ask away. I'll be happy to clarify as best I can on all fronts.

Buying Commissions!
Well, I've exhausted every other avenue I can think of to no avail - so I'm sending a little shout to all those peeping toms (and tomboys) watching me out there: Are you an artist, or do you know of one? Open for commissions? Comfortable with Futa content? Let's talk!
I'm looking for art similar in style/quality to the past commissions I've bought and posted here on my DA (with more coming soon, honest!). I'm also looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves and collaborate with me on these original characters of mine; someone unafraid to go back and forth over a sketch as we hammer out the perfect picture together. I realize it's al
Happy Holidays!
Whatever Holiday(s) float your boat this season; here's wishing you all well as we venture out of a hectic 2010 and into the mystery of 2011. It's been a wonderful year working with and meeting the many DA members I've come to know, and I look forward to including even more throughout the next!
Stay safe, enjoy yourselves, and beware of wooden nickels!
A Fresh Perspective
So... I have myself a veritable boatload - assuming said boat is an aircraft carrier! - of original characters that I've developed over the years. Up until now, I've been perfectly happy tweaking their backgrounds; developing their personalities; and buying commissions from talented artists to see them given perfect shape and form. They were created as Roleplaying characters - and that's where they've stayed.
However... Figuring out what to call them, exactly, has always been a bit troublesome. 'Futa' or 'Futanari' is a nice, comfortable term - but not one everyone is quite likely to recognize. It's a genre term; and one won't find it if the
Update: Bring me your artists!
It's official! I am now definitively on the hunt for someone willing to take commissions for my somewhat expansive line of original characters. Here's the nitty-gritty in brief:
- Reasonably priced. I can't afford to spend a hundred on each! I can bear buying just the linearts if need be. I'm looking for a quality baseline above all else.
- Each character (Estimated: 12, so far) will have at least two images each. One tame, clothed picture and one nude. The latter will involve Futa more often than not, so I need someone comfortable with that sort of material.
- Compatibility! It's a lot easier to work with someone if they're as into you
